Define the pattern reference
Water ripple describes a family of reflective textured effects rather than one fixed pattern. Use an actual sample code or retained reference to indicate the desired scale and appearance. Include the panel dimensions and explain whether several sheets will be installed side by side.
Describe the finished component
State whether the order concerns flat patterned sheet, formed panels or a larger assembly. Mark visible faces, edge returns, joints and intended orientation. If the material is for a ceiling or feature wall, include the supporting arrangement and any project-specific construction requirements.
Review the sample under relevant light
Reflections affect how a textured mirror surface appears. Review the reference in conditions that are useful for the project, and agree what appearance is being accepted. Keep the base grade, thickness and requested colour separate from the pattern description.
Keep these details together.
- Pattern scale and retained reference
- Grade, thickness and panel module
- Colour, orientation and visible joints
- Sample approval and packing scope
