Mirror Stainless Steel Sheets
Reflective stainless steel for decorative components. Define the viewing face, panel geometry and sample reference before comparing quotations.
What to put in the quotation request
| Format | Flat sheet or fabricated component; sizes and quantity |
|---|---|
| Appearance | Mirror reference, colour and approved sample |
| Construction | Visible area, bends, backing and installation detail |
| Protection | Film, handling, packing and inspection requirements |
The photograph is an appearance reference. Confirm the substrate, coating process and sheet format with the quotation.
Coordinate the finish
with the fabrication.
Mirror stainless steel inquiries should explain where the surface will be viewed and how it will be fabricated. A reflective finish makes the final visual result especially dependent on panel layout, supporting details and installation conditions. Give the supplier the drawing, the visible dimensions and a finish reference rather than only a colour name.
Clarify whether the inquiry covers flat sheet or completed components. Include the substrate grade, thickness, quantity and any coloured finish request. Agree a practical appearance review using a physical sample, and define how the visible face will be protected through fabrication and transport. The finished material should be assessed against the agreed reference rather than a digitally enhanced image.
Is mirror finish a material grade?
No. It describes the surface appearance; specify the base grade separately.
Should I provide the installation drawing?
Yes, especially for large visible panels, returns and components that must align with adjacent work.
Useful specification notes.
